IRAN
"A door of great opportunity stands wide open...but there are many opponents." (1 Corinthians 16:9)
On any given day, Christians in the Middle East could be taken from their families, imprisoned, tortured,
raped, or killed. Yet, one particular country has gained the
distinction of being the leading country in the world where the Church
is growing and thriving: Iran.
Despite
the certainty of persecution, converts are coming to Christ in
significant numbers through the ministry of underground pastors, as they
meet secretly in house churches.
Underground
pastors in Iran daily risk their lives and the lives of their families
to minister and bring people to Christ. ICC supports 20 underground pastors in
Iran so they can devote themselves fully to ministry...and they are
seeing God move greatly in the hearts of many Muslims, drug addicts, prostitutes, and runaways:
