What if our government decided that everyone who claimed your ancestry was no longer welcome — and you had to leave the country tomorrow?
Priscilla’s family experienced exactly that when the Tanzanian government decided that everyone of Rwandan descent had to leave the country. Days later, she and 65 million others were stranded in a Rwandan refugee camp.
Stunned, displaced and seemingly forgotten, the refugees were deprived of hope — but hope is exactly what our Rwandan EHC workers came to share.
