‘Patience means awaiting God’s help without doubting God’s love.’ (Psalm 37:7) We wish you a very blessed week. Greetings, Marga Hooglugt (GPN)
URGENT: I am 22 years old and after a period of heavy drugs, I am weary. I have developed a social phobia. I am shaking in my hands, legs and neck. Please pray for me. Remy
URGENT: Pray for a solution in my financial situation. I am unemployed for four months now, and have the responsibility to take care of my six children. Pray that I can pay off the debts. Pray for strength for me and my family. Mr. P.S.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYER! Last July 2nd, the brain tumor was successfully removed, and the test result is good! I thank God that the wound is healing well and that I will also stop my sleeping medicine. Please continue to pray for God’s provision in our finances. Mrs. N.B.
Many embassies in the Middle East were closed because of the continued threat posed by al-Qaeda. Please pray for the safety and security of the embassies throughout the Islamic world, and for the employees and their families. For intelligence officials as they intercept and analyze increased terrorist chatter since the prison breaks. Ms. V.
Africa: Please pray for God’s healing from diabetes type 2 and high blood pressure. Also ask God for strength to preach the Gospel. Mr. I.B.A.
Please pray that God restores the relationship between my ex-husband and me. Pray that he will accept Jesus as his Savior. Mrs. K.
India: An Afghan Church grows in Delhi. Most Afghan Christian converts have chosen India because of its proximity and their familiarity with the country. Pray for and praise God for the Evangelical church in Delhi, may they touch the lives of the thousands of Muslim and Afghan Sikh refugees who have also settled in India since the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. My husband and I are fostering a beautiful baby girl. We are supposed to meet the baby’s family to discuss her long term future. My hope is that they ask us to adopt her. Please ask God to make sure, whether we get to keep her or not, to bless her with a future of promise and hope. Ms. S.
Egypt: Please pray for the persecution in Egypt what continues to increase at an alarming rate. Churches, stores owned by Christians and Christian homes were attacked in three villages in Menia city. In the city of Sohag, radical Muslims attacked another church and put the flag of al-Qaida on the building. Two Christians were killed in northern areas of the Sinai Peninsula. Two churches in Matai and Kom Hamada were attacked during a funeral procession for two Muslim Brotherhood members. Smaller churches in Arish have closed, and only one church is holding a weekly service for those who remain. In the Luxor province, the newly appointed head of police is suspected of intentionally failing to respond to an incident on July 5th in which four Christians were killed.
I am living in New York City. Please pray for God’s protection. There is an increased amount of attacks on poor homeless people. Mr. Danny
Please also pray for God’s protection, care and a solution in the situation of the homeless people in your own country. GPN
South Africa: Cape Town. Residents in Manenberg are concerned that gang violence is destroying the future of the youth in their community. They took to the streets, after several people were killed. Please ask God to bring peace in Manenberg and Heideveld. Pray that believers in these areas will remain standing before God in prayer (2 Chronicles 7:14). Prayer Alert
Please pray that God will forgive all my sins and provide in an income by making and spinning music. Pray also for the conversion of my mother, and I wish to get married. That I will walk in His light and God restores my life completely. Mr. G.
Brazil: Please pray for the mission trip and campaigns with John T.L. Maasbach and the MAP Band, that the Holy Spirit will work among them. That many new people will be reached with the love of Christ, start to grow in their faith and receive healing, deliverance and baptism in the Holy Spirit. Pray also for God’s blessing for our faith partners and workers of the Oasis project, who especially focuses on children of the street.
