Aimaq, Firozkohi in Afghanistan "Aimaq" means "tribal people". The Firozkohi Aimaq are one of the semi-nomadic tribes. The tribes were first identified in the 16th and 17th centuries, when the groups were unified by chiefs coming from outside the area. Tribalism is strong among all Aimaq groups.
