Syria: Christians
in Syria remain hopeful despite increasingly difficult circumstances.
They are still facing threat of snipers and mortars. Many people are
begging, seeking for shelter. The value of the Syrian pound continues to
fall. Yet the church is still open for Bible studies, youth meetings,
prayer meetings, medical clinics and church services on Sunday. The
church takes care to hand out packages with food and hygiene products.
Pray that the church will be a house of prayer and a center of peace in
the midst of chaos, and that many Syrians will come to Christ. Pray also
for the stability in the region.

New York City:
The last three days the weather has been extremely hot, with hardly a
breeze making it really hard to breathe and carry these bags around.

Laos: On January 23rd, the village chief evicted two Christian converts from their home, for seeking prayers for physical healing. On January 10th,
Mr. Sakien and his wife, Dong, went to a church in Intee village,
Attapeu province, looking for physical healing. Their son and
daughter-in-law had told them that they had experienced healing from
prayer. This happened shortly after the couple embraced the Christian
faith. Pray God to provide for a place for them to live and healing for the very ill Sakien. VOM Contact

Suriname: My niece needs prayer for her marriage. Her husband is with another women. Pray that God will send her husband back and restore their relationship. Ms. S.D.

Cuba: Pray for the recipients of 2 million tracts and 20,000 Bibles that will be purchased and distributed in Cuba.

Join us in your prayers that souls will be saved
and that God will receive all the glory. Ask God to send funds for the
furtherance of the gospel. That He will touch the heart of His faithful

Honduras: Eight pastors have been murdered. On Wednesday June 19th,
Pastor Eduardo Mejia was stabbed to death. Pastor Mejia led a church
called ‘God Is Love’. The other seven pastors died all from gunshot
wounds. Honduras has the highest murder rate in the world. None of the
cases involving the murdered pastors has been solved. Pray for God’s protection and strength for the Christians in this land. VOM Contact
