Urgent: Please pray for a miracle of healing for our son A., who has a serious bowel cancer. Pray also for liberation from mental problems for my niece, S.R. Family R.

Every Sunday I watch the TV broadcast of David Maasbach on SBS6. I ask prayers for my son Danny, so he will be released from evil, the negative spiral. Since my son came into contact with a girl, he has been really affected her family (father, mother and daughter). They said that I, his mother, am too fanatic and that this is not good. He wanted to free himself from me. Now he told me that he is sad. Pray that his relationship with God and our relationship will be restored. Mrs. S.R.

We ask your prayer for God’s blessing on the preparations for the Maasbach Conference on Wednesday October 22nd until Sunday October 26th. Pray that God’s Spirit will touch many lives during the seminars, the hour of prayer, the worship and the revival services on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening. You are also welcome to come!

India: Praise the Lord for the Harvest Time Bible Schools. Every three months new school are starting, conducted by our partner, Pastor Kingsly Lazarus. Pray for God’s blessing, guidance, protection and provision for the students, teachers and partners who make this possible. Mr. M.W.

Egypt: Eman Morco S., a 39-year-old Christian mother of five children, was kidnapped from her village in Menia, on September 3rd by an armed man. Officials initially denied that Eman had been kidnapped, reporting that she had willingly left her family and converted to Islam. Eman escaped her captors on September 26th and has publicly stated that she is a Christian and will never convert to Islam. Eman’s abductor has threatened to kidnap her children if she does not return to him. Pray for this family. VOM Contact

Mrs. R.R. asks prayer for healing from the Lord for her knee and back, so she will be able to walk and stand longer.

Laos: Two Hmong Christian men, ‘Tou Ly’ and ‘Fai Cho,’ were forced by relatives to leave their homes, because they refused to renounce Christ and return to ancestor worship. They were then arrested by local authorities and detained for two weeks. After their release, on August 25th, the men rented a place to live outside the village, but their struggles continued when Fai Cho’s father died, on September 27th. Local authorities issued Fai Cho’s family a large fine, claiming they had not obtained the proper burial permit. The two men are being helped by their church, but they have little to no food or clothing and are in desperate need. Pray for God’s strength and provision. VOM Contact

I ask prayer for my aunt Joke (75), for her total healing of various physical ailments, so she will be free of pain. Pray for her conversion. Mrs. A.K.

‘Has the Lord left Syria?’ Hanna wonders. ‘No, of course not. He is with us. Many more of us would be killed without Him. Through the prayers of Christians in Syria and worldwide, there is still a church in Syria. Christians are still alive. They pray, fast, visit and encourage one another. I respect the people who stay.’ Pray for protection and that Christians keep their eyes fixed on the Lord Jesus. Pray that the church in Syria may continue to exist. Pray for priest Hanna J. and the other abducted Christians. Pray that the violence will stop and for a turnaround in the hearts of members of extremist groups. Open Doors

Mrs. M.P. is a schoolteacher and wants to set up her own business. Now she is experiencing a lot of tension and is worried about this. She asks prayer for God’s help and guidance, also in her financial problems.

PRAYER HELPS! I am saved, but at the age of 68 I am homeless in New York City. Pray for me, because I have lost so much weight and the weather keeps changing. After dark, it is getting so cold and lonely in the park. Thank you for your prayers. On Saturday October 4th I celebrated that I am free from drugs and alcohol for already 33 years. brother Danny
