There
are an estimated 120 million people with disabilities in India.
Christian Aid Mission helps support a ministry that runs a school for
mentally handicapped children in Haryana. The school was started on
World Disabled Day in December 2012 with the aim to educate and train
these youngsters so they can enjoy some measure of independence in their
lives. Eleven students are currently enrolled. Now three of the
students’ families have become Christians and are attending church.
