‘True faith is like a kite; a contrary wind raises it higher.’ (Mark 4:35; Matthew 14:24-28)
On behalf of Pastor David and John T.L. Maasbach, I wish you a very blessed weekend. Marga Hooglugt (GPN)

SPECIAL PRAYER: We are already married for 18 years and to our grief we are childless. I am 39 years old and humanly it is almost impossible, but we believe in a supernatural God of miracles. Therefore, we ask your prayers for ‘new life’ in our marriage. Mr. J. & Mrs. M.

Pray for the widows: Prostitution; begging; gathering food from trash. This is often what awaits a woman in India when her husband dies. There are 115 million widows around the world, and one-third of them live in India. A woman in India is ostracized for her husband’s death for this reason: it is considered to be the wife’s fault. She must have done something bad in her past life. The husband is now paying for his wife’s wrongdoing. Pray for the widows globally and also in your community. Pray for their health, that their children will love them and take good care of them. Pray for their salvation and that they will teach younger women in the ways of God.
A couple asks prayer for healing in their lives. Pray that they will visit a church faithfully. He started smoking again.

My husband is accused of stealing money from delivered goods. He says he has left the money, but he cannot prove this. Pray that God will protect him and that the truth will come out. Mrs. C.

Please stand with me in prayer for Ms. N., for deliverance from her alcohol addiction. Also pray for the following loved ones: Haminder S., William, George H., who are all alcoholics. Pray also for restoration in the relationship with my children, Nana A., Nana B., because of an ugly divorce. Mr. C.B.A.

Please pray for God’s solution for Mrs. M., who is in a difficult situation. And for the conversion of her husband B.

I would like to ask your prayers for strength of faith and victory of my fear. I am attacked by fears of poverty. Mr. F.v.B.

Suriname: Please pray for the repentance and recovery in the relationship with my rebellious daughter. She is now pregnant of her Hindu friend. I reacted in a wrong way and have asked the Lord for forgiveness. Pray that her marriage can continue.

I ask your prayer for Mr. A. who has left the ways of the Lord. He is in deep trouble. Pray for a breakthrough and his deliverance. Please pray for the people who work at the Global Prayer Network Helpdesk, for special wisdom, health and strength for de woman who talks en prays with the people in need.

Mrs. F.M. asks prayer for outcome in her financial problems, new strength, physical healing of a sleep disorder and concentration problems and lethargy.

Please pray for outcome in financial trouble for a Mrs. from Limburg. Pray that she will work on her a relationship with the Lord and will visit a church.

Congo: Please pray for the 170 students of the Harvest Time Bible School in Congo who will graduate this weekend. Ask God to help them, to grow and to find a place in God’s Kingdom to win souls in their nation. Also for the campaigns with Evangelist Joh T.L. Maasbach. Keep on praying for the students and God’s anointing upon the teachers in Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, India, Italy and Switzerland.

Egypt: Another big change in Egypt after days of protests against the policies of President Morsi. On Wednesday, after the expiration of the ultimatum, the army put down the president. Among the millions of Egyptians who protested in recent days are also many Christians. Many of them accused Morsi and his ruling party, the Muslim Brotherhood, they did little to counter the economic downturn of the country. Employees of Open Doors in Egypt are asking Christians to pray. ‘The situation is very uncertain. It is still uncertain what tactics the army follows and the impact the deposition of Morsi will have for Christians.’ Despite the joy of many Christians, the fear of violence also increased. Pray for protection of the Church in Egypt for the Egyptian Christians, a new government that takes into account the interests of all Egyptians. Pray that Christians in these turbulent times will have the opportunity to speak about their faith in Jesus Christ. Open Doors

ANSWERED PRAYER: I want to let you know that the conversation with my employer was successful. I felt supported by the prayers. I will not return to my old school, but search for a new job. PRAYER REQUEST: Please pray that I will be where the Lord wants me. Mrs. A.K.

ANSWERED PRAYER: Zr. J. called the GPN Help Line and told that, after your prayers, it goes very well with her. She told that she wants to be baptized. PRAYER REQUEST: She asks us to pray for a home in a different environment.
