Two Doctors for 1.1 Million Sudanese People

Healing the Wounds
Health care is a hot-button political issue in the United States, but our brothers and sisters in South Kordofan, Sudan, face a whole other level of health-care crisis. After hospitals were bombed and aid organizations chased from the country, only two doctors remained to treat 1.1 million people.

Even if people weren’t being maimed in government bombings, medical aid would be desperately lacking for everyday needs such as delivering babies, treating malaria and helping people injured in accidents.

Last year, VOM delivered 44.5 tons of medicine to the South Kordofan region, and we continue to support the few medical workers still in the region. Right now VOM is helping build a clinic in the western part of South Kordofan and providing badly needed mosquito nets for its patients. Please consider contributing now to help provide medical care for our brothers and sisters in Sudan.

Help Care for the Sick and Wounded in Sudan

Providing medicine and medical care is just one of the ways VOM is helping persecuted Christians in Sudan. VOM is also providing Bibles, Action Packs and Family Med Packs as well as supporting front-line gospel workers there.

During the month of July, we invite you to help us support bold believers in Sudan who remain faithful while facing ongoing persecution from a radical Muslim government. Take this opportunity to stand with Christians in Sudan, and please pray for God’s protection and blessings on them.
