Gathering of the Caiua
These
Caiua children are participating in an annual festival that celebrates
their tribe’s heritage and traditions. For more than 80 years, Caiua
Evangelical Mission has shared the gospel with indigenous groups in the
Amazon basin of Brazil. The ministry has established schools for 2000
tribal children and opened medical clinics that provide free health and
dental services to remote villages. Its Bible institute in Dourados
trains missionaries and church leaders through a comprehensive two-year
program, and the ministry covers the costs for student housing and
educational materials.
