HELP STOP THE ABDUCTION OF CHRISTIANS

Today, we want you to raise your voice by petitioning the government of Egypt to immediately launch an investigation on the abduction of Coptic Christian women and girls in Egypt.
Imagine having to live in daily fear of being
abducted because of your faith. Whether it be for ransom, forced
conversion, or forced marriage, this is a true reality for many Egyptian
Christians.
In the
last six months alone, International Christian Concern has documented
17 abductions of Coptic Christian women and girls, some as young as 16.
Although families of these victims turn to police and law enforcement
for help in safely retrieving their loved ones, they are often met with
inaction.
This
nightmare is a reality for Noura Youssef who was abducted in April of
2016 on her way to her parents' home. Despite her husband reporting the
crime to police, according to him, he has received little assistance
because of his faith. Noura remains missing to this day.

immediately direct local and national law enforcement officials to
investigate Noura's abduction and the many other cases like hers, and to
fully prosecute those responsible for these heinous acts.

Petition to Stop the Abduction of Christians in Egypt!

No Egyptian
citizen should fear abduction, forced marriage and rape, and forced
conversion to another faith, simply because they are members of a
vulnerable religious minority.
The lack of law enforcement and
accountability for those that perpetrate these kidnappings and
abductions is truly appalling. This petition demands that President
el-Sisi of Egypt direct law enforcement to fully investigate these
crimes and hold those responsible accountable for their actions. Only
then will justice for these victims be realized, and these evil actions
be curbed.
