Mina in India
Lack of education, illiteracy and lack of access to
proper facilities keep the Mina in the clutches of several sicknesses.
Mina believe in life after death and rebirth. Those who do well in this
life are supposed to be born as stars in the next life. Minas are ruled
by several such folk beliefs.Ministry Obstacles
The Mina community speaks some 40 languages. Church planting strategies need to take this into account. Workers speaking several languages are needed.
Outreach Ideas
Several church planting teams and evangelistic efforts are needed. Each language group within this community needs special attention.
Pray for the followers of Christ
Pray for the few believers among the Mina, that they may be encouraged in the faith and may be properly taught the ways of the Lord by capable teachers who know the Scriptures, and how to teach them.
Pray for the entire people group
Pray that each person in this large community may hear of Jesus and his finished work on the cross, and be given faith to believe. Pray for workers.
