Prayer Request GPN 04-27-2010

GPN 04-27-2010

“The world crowns success; God crowns faithfulness.” Judges 7:21; Neh. 8:7.

It is clear for you and me where we should strive for in life.

Greetings Roberto Wijnhof

Please pray for my marriage. My husband (Greg) has been gone for 2.5 years due to his military activation. He left a warm, loving husband, very much in love with me eager to return to me. He mentioned hanging by a thread emotionally due to the separation. In Feb. he was still warm and loving. In March, he seemed cold and distant. Now he says he cannot feel anything for me. They are talking of extending his deployment. Please pray my husband's loving feelings for me will be restored. I love my husband with all my heart - our marriage is being attacked by our separation. Please pray God will restore our love to one another completely. We need urgent prayer; please intercede on our behalf that the Lord will save our marriage. I believe God wants to protect what He has created and joined together.

Please pray for George. George is looking for work. He has the possibility for an interview within the next five days if he is chosen. He desperately needs work. Lord Jesus, hear George's cries. Strengthen his heart and give him faith. C.D.
"Your words bring great joy to me"

It is a privilege to share encouraging news from Cuba: In December, we asked for prayer for Reverend Rodriguez who faced trial on trumped up charges and whose trial was suspended at the last minute, at great relief to his family. “We took pleasure in this miracle of the Lord with tears in our eyes…We firmly believe that this was just the beginning of God’s work in our favour...your prayers have been of great value”.

Pastor Omar Gude Perez was imprisoned in May 2008, without charge or trial, most likely because of the rapid growth and impact of his ministry. His wife Kenya sent this message of thanks: “Your words bring great joy to me, thank you for your support….You all can act as a channel to make history with the gospel in Cuba”.

Dear praying friend, All 4 in the family now, except yours truly until now....are suffering the same, needing 5 days of anti-bio tics injections, but slowly getting better it seems, by His Grace and your prayers. Thanks. Blessings, Arie.

NIGERIA: “…the lives of human beings are losing significance and people are killing at will…”Violent attacks in northern Nigeria continued last week, with the tragic news that a pastor and his wife were hacked to death and burnt to ashes by Muslim assailants in Bauchi. At the same time, concerns are heightening at the possible role military elements are playing in the ongoing violence in Plateau State. Please pray for your brothers and sisters of Nigeria.

Dear saints of God,

Aggressively pray for Margaret Wanjiru, Kathy Kyuna, Rahab, Deborah, Mercy N., Emmy, Lucy N., Linda, Lilian, Jennifer, Esther, Millie, Mama I., Margaret W., Zipporah K., Felistus ,Rose W., Catherine ,Monica N., Jennifer, Joan M. Susan M., Agnes, and others that God holy power set them free from deep demonic spirit of spiritual witchcraft of mind control, deception, confusion, immorality, lying and strong Jezebel spirit that target innocent God children especially in churches.

Pray that God holy power set these women free and lead to their repentance in Jesus mighty name.

Pray that God set free all the captives those women have held in bondages for years. Pray that God completely set these women free in Jesus mighty name. Ruth
Help stop the forcible return of Eritrean refugees

Your prayer today can help stop the forcible return of refugees to Eritrea, where they are seriously endangered.

Following our call for action on behalf of Eritrean refugees and asylum seekers, we are disappointed to report that, after a brief respite, forcible returns have resumed. In December, over 100 Eritrean men, women and children were imprisoned in Northern Sinai after being forcibly returned to Egypt by the Israeli Army. Since then, over 80 have been forcibly deported. Those who resisted, including a pregnant woman, were severely assaulted by Egyptian prison guards. Countless other Eritrean refugees face a similar fate and are in desperate need of our help.

JERRY KILBURN: Is having a heart cath on Monday, and desperately needs healing of his heart and lungs. He also has emphysema from years of smoking. Jerry is my ex-husband and David and Brian's father. Thanks so very much for your prayers today!!!! Blessings to All, Helen

COLOMBIA: “We are living in fear and need your solidarity and prayers...”

Just a month after CSW returned from a fact-finding and solidarity visit to Colombia, churches in six villages in southern Cordoba, Colombia, have received renewed threats from paramilitary groups.

As well as being forbidden from going out at night, the letter handed to a pastor, threatens: “Pastor of Corinto, we are not fooled. There are wolves in your midst, sneaky, predatory, skilled, bad …you ****** Evangelicals… Prepare yourselves. When we knock on your door, don’t resist us because [if you do] we will burn you alive in your house...”

Without your support, lobbying and prayer, the situation facing Colombian Christian leaders would have gone unnoticed and unreported.

Your prayers and letters to MPs and MEPs, combined with CSW’s lobbying of the Foreign Office and the European Union, resulted in them recognising the persecution of Christians by armed groups – a vital step in ensuring the Colombian Government protects vulnerable individuals.

Hi, my brothers and sisters, asking special prayer for GODS strength and provision it seems like the spiritual warfare in NYC has gone to a new level. GOD richly bless you, brother Danny
