What if our government decided that
everyone who claimed your ancestry was no longer welcome — and you had
to leave the country tomorrow?
Priscilla’s family experienced exactly
that when the Tanzanian government decided that everyone of Rwandan
descent had to leave the country. Days later, she and 65 million others
were stranded in a Rwandan refugee camp.
Stunned, displaced and seemingly
forgotten, the refugees were deprived of hope — but hope is exactly what
our Rwandan EHC workers came to share.
