For
missionaries native to Nepal preparing to bring Jesus to villages where
He is unknown, the road leads to unknown adventures. The ground
continues to shake after last year’s April 25 and May 12 temblors, and
the monsoon season has begun. Hundreds of people have put their trust in
Christ since the earthquakes opened up relief opportunities, and on a
recent trip, members of this indigenous ministry showed gospel films and
dramas to more than 2,000 people. “Also, during Dasai [a Hindu
festival], we had a three-day seminar in our own church, and believers
joined us from different villages,” the ministry director said. “We
collected special offerings and distributed them to poor believers.
These all were possible because of your prayers, and because you opened
your hands to people such as these.”
