I would like to share encouragement to every member of Pray! Network.
Many
years ago I was given good counsel by my father who shared that the
more you put into doing something—or learning—the more you got out of
it. He was correct and it was good advice.
When
it comes to prayer, Pray! Network provides an opportunity to learn
from others who were also involved in prayer. Here is how my
participation in PrayNetwork.org has helped me personally grow in my
Christian Walk and Prayer Life.
First: by
participation and asking questions. Don’t be afraid to ask
questions. It is an excellent way to learn. There are a number of
groups, discussions, and blog posts which provide opportunity to
directly ask questions.
Second:
Be willing to learn from others—especially those with experience or
training. Many of them want to encourage others in their relationship
with Jesus and their prayer life. Your questions to them, help them help you.
Third: Join
in with groups that pray for people. Look how others have prayed if
you are not sure how to pray for various needs. Their examples are very
helpful.
Of
those that I have known in Pray! Network over the last 4 years who have
been quite active, have grown in their relationship with the Lord, and
in their prayer life. Many were and still are willing to listen, learn
from, and encourage others. They are often reaching out and encouraging
to others.
All
the above are important to getting the most our of Pray! Network and
its success. It is the desire of many of us to see this forum be a
place where we can learn, and encourage others.
Looking forward to seeing your contribution(s) at PrayNetwork.org,
