It’s More than a Backpack

Children in persecuted Christian families are often mistreated within their communities and face great challenges because of their faith. In some countries, Christian children are specifically targeted for persecution or forced conversion. These children quickly learn the cost of following Christ. Each year The Voice of the Martyrs works through its network of field leaders around the world to reach children of persecuted Christians with a special Christmas Care Pack. The contents, which are packed in a school-type backpack, are tailored to meet the unique needs of the children who will receive them. The packs contain practical items such as school supplies and personal hygiene products as well as a toy for each child. The most important item in each Christmas Care Pack, however, is anillustrated, full-color children’s Bible in the appropriate language. You may also give a Christmas Care pack in honor of friends or family members. This is a great way to demonstrate the true meaning of Christmas and share your heart for our persecuted family with loved ones.
