Miracles in the Persecuted Church

Miracles in the Persecuted Church

By Dan Wooding, Founder of ASSIST News Service
small Chibok girl foundLAKE FOREST, CA (ANS – May 19, 2016) – In the last few days, we have been able to send you two inspiring stories about God intervening in the lives of his children in both Nigeria and Iran.
Just yesterday, I released the amazing story of 19-year-old Amina Ali Nkeki, one of the missing 219 Chibok schoolgirls who, on Tuesday, was found alive Nigeria, the first to be rescued since their capture two years ago by the Boko Haram terror group. Amina was found carrying a baby by an army-backed vigilante group in the huge Sambisa Forest, close to the border with Cameroon, and with her was a Boko Haram member who was said to her “husband.” When she had a tearful reunion with her mother, she told her Mom, “God has made it possible for us to see each other again.”
Then, on Monday, I wrote up the story of Yousef Nadarkhani, the Church of Iran pastor acquitted of apostasy in 2012, and re-arrested along with his wife, Tina Pasandide Nadarkhani, in Iran on Friday, May 13, 2016. When we first revealed that the couple had been arrested after Iranian Ministry of Intelligence officers raided their home in Rasht, I know that many of you prayed, and God heard those prayers and miraculously they were released on the same day.
We couldn’t continue to provide these stories without your direct involvement -- through your generous giving -- and, of course, most importantly, your prayer involvement. I know that many of you run a weekly prayer group in your home or church, and you tell me that use many of our stories in your group. For this, I thank you so much for being a valued and vital member of our ANS team.
As a donor and prayer partner, you are directly impacting the lives of the courageous brothers and sisters that we feature through the ASSIST News Service, who need to know that there are people – like you – who deeply care about their situation.
Youcef Nadarkhani and wife TinaI know that money is scarce at this time, but if you would prayerfully consider digging deep today and send along a gift to ASSIST, that would be of such a comfort to us and also allow us to continue bringing you these stories filed by our many correspondents around the world, some of whom literally risk their lives to bring you this material.
All you have to do is go to www.assistnews.net and click on where it says, DONATE TO ASSIST NEWS, and make your gift, which by the way is, in the US, tax deductible. If you prefer a check, just make it out to ASSIST and mail it to: PO Box 609, Lake Forest, CA 92609, USA. Thank you so much!
Once you have given, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you, as a valued team member, are helping to change lives and are also allowing us to bring you more of these unique stories that you often will not read anywhere else.
So thank you in advance for your gift, and please send along any personal prayer requests you may have so that my wife Norma and I can pray for you. My e-mail address is: assistnews@aol.com .
