Traveling Peru… By Bulldozer

Colca, City of Light

Tourists who flock to Machu Picchu never make it to Colca, Peru. This town, high in the Andes, is only accessible by unpaved mountain roads — and a bulldozer tow across flooded rivers in the rainy season. Once there, a sleepy community struggling with poverty and addiction is the only welcome.
What would make Guadencio Llantoyo give up his influence and salary as a pastor in Lima and move to this forgotten village in the middle of nowhere?
