“God and prayer go together; to neglect one is to neglect the other.” 1Sam. 12:23; 1Thess. 5:17. Have a blessed weekend. Roberto Wijnhof

Please pray for church-meetings all over the world. That many will be saved, the sick healed, those that are bounded delivered and many filled with the Holy Spirit.

Indonesia is the world’s largest Muslim-majority country. Its religious freedom record is mixed, and the volatile province of West Papua deserves our special prayers. Dr Rebekka Zakari spent four years in prison for running a Sunday school.

- Father please pour Your Spirit out on Indonesia, so that peace would reign and laws would not be misused to commit injustice.

- Pray for Dr Rebekka, who plans to keep running Sunday school and church in Bandung, and using her life to help the poor after her recent prison release.

- ray for West Java, where Shari’a law is being heavily promoted; and pray for pastors under pressure from hostile extremists.

- Pray for the national church, which Dr Rebekka describes as going through “a time of testing”. Particularly pray for churches which have been under attack or forced to close recently, especially in Bekasi.

Hi my brothers and sisters, asking special prayer for GODS strength and provision, and this week I have a very special unspoken request that only prayer and the grace and mercy of GOD will be able to answer. GOD richly bless you, brother Danny (my brother lives on the streets of New York). Please pray for him.

Global Day of Prayer is partnering with NEWPO (National Evangelistic Prayer Watch Outreach) under the leadership of Bishop Peter M Sekhonyane and hosting the 6th annual Power of Prayer Conference that will take place at Maranatha Revival Centre in Orange Farms from 28 – 31 October 2010. This is a very strategic national conference that has birthed the establishment of more than 7,800 Prayer Centres in South Africa over the past five years, with local churches becoming ‘Houses of Prayer’ and ‘Community Watches’ drawing believers together from many churches to pray for their local communities. Please pray that all attendees will be empowered to go back to their own communities to bring forth transformation through prayer. Pray also that believers from different denominations will seek God in unity of spirit.

A Christian pastor in Iran who was sentenced to death for what is being called a “thought crime” has less than a week to live. Advocates for Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani told ASSIST News that while all of the other prisoners arrested in a wide-ranging crackdown by Iranian authorities have been released, Nadarkhani still faces the death penalty on October 24. Pastor Youcef was arrested in October 2009 for protesting against a decision of the Corporation to impose Koranic teaching to his son. Please pray for a miracle.

Please pray for a student of mine in my watercolour class named Cindi. Her 27-year-old daughter died in her sleep two weeks ago, leaving a week-old baby daughter and a 4-yr. Old little boy. Her husband and the whole family are trying desperately to pick up the pieces and determine how best to take care of the children. They are grieving deeply and need god's mercy and grace to continue to sustain them through this dark valley. They are very strong in their faith, and god has been working miracles already in this situation. Helen

Christians in the worldwide, this is our time to take control of the whole world, this is our time to shine, this our time to lead the world, so may you please pray for Mr Agnina Yacoubou who is appointed to be the next president of Togo. Dear Brothers and Sisters, I ask you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to pray for Rev. Dr. Pastor Peter Enobakhare.

He needs an appendence operation, but also because of security reasons it is not able to bring him to the local hospital. We know this is an spiritual attack out of darkness. Our ministry is in Benin City.

A court in predominantly Buddhist Bhutan has sentenced a Christian to three years in prison for “attempting to promote civil unrest” by screening films on Christianity.

A local court in Gelephu convicted Prem Singh Gurung, a 40-year-old ethnic Nepalese citizen from Sarpang district in south Bhutan, on Oct. 6, according to the government-run daily Kuensel.

Gurung was arrested four months ago after local residents complained that he was showing Christian films in Gonggaon and Simkharkha villages in Jigmecholing block. Gurung invited villagers to watch Nepali movies, and between each feature he showed films on Christianity. Please pray for brother Singh Gurung.

I will be flying out Friday morning for Wisconsin for a speaking engagement there Saturday. My trip to Peru is going to cost $10,000. I spoke there on the Amazon River for three days and seventeen people were called by God into a full time ministry and a Bible School was started. I plan on staying for a year. Please pray for me. P. Michael Bailey
