In the midst of ISIS attacks, Leading The Way brings hope in the chaos

HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, UK (ANS – November 21, 2015) -- Following the tragic events in Paris and Beirut, Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef is releasing a TV special (Nov 22-28) to encourage people to find hope in Christ, despite the chaos of these continuing ISIS attacks.

In response to the horrific events in Paris and Beirut, Dr. Youssef said: “Like all of you, when I see all this carnage in Beirut and in the Sinai Desert and in Paris, France, I can easily get discouraged.

“But I don’t, because I know that this is the beginning of birth pangs. The Lord Jesus said, ‘When you see these things, lift up your heads, for your day of redemption is drawing nigh.’ But I also see that many people are coming to Christ from the Muslim world, and so God is using what is meant for evil to bring good out of it. There is joy in the midst of this chaos.”

In June 2014, ISIS became a household name. But who is ISIS? What is life like for the more than 3 million refugees who have fled this radical Islamic group? And how is Leading The Way helping them?

Leading The Way’s TV special Hope in the Midst of Chaos answers these questions and highlights how the ministry has provided direct support to thousands of Christians directly affected by ISIS persecution and reached Syrian and Iraqi refugees through the broadcasts of their 24/7 satellite television channel, THE KINGDOM SAT.

Leading The Way has also distributed solar-powered Bibles called Navigators to Syrian and Iraqi refugees, enabling their teams to share the Word of God with Christians who have left even their Bibles behind, and also sharing God’s Word with Muslims.
