The faces of boys and girls light up with joy as they receive Christmas Care Packs.
Today is a rare chance for them to play games, celebrate their
family’s faith and hear the Christmas story at a special children’s
festival. Each child expresses delight as he or she opens a VOM
Christmas Care Pack filled with school supplies, soap, a toothbrush, a
toy and an illustrated children’s Bible.
Christmas Care Packs are the perfect gift for these children and are a blessing to their families. A VOM worker from Pakistan says the Bibles included in the packs often become the family’s favorite Bible since many parents cannot read.

This year, VOM is preparing for its largest distribution of
Christmas Care Packs since the outreach began, more than 20 years ago.
Children from many nations, including children of Iraqi families that
have been exiled at the hands of ISIS, will receive Christmas Care Packs
in this year’s distribution.
Christmas Care Packs are assembled with donations from VOM supporters, using items purchased in the region where they are distributed. VOM workers distribute the packs throughout the year in many of the 68 countries where we work.
