New research on lesbian couples as parents has caused quite a stir. In the report it is claimed that lesbian couples make better parents than heterosexual couples. The research also suggested that children with two female parents are more inspirational than those with male and female parents. Please pray against all these reports that want to destroy the order that God has set in place. Pray that the family units in your community will remain strong and according to God’s purpose and plan.

Pray for our Son AC who has turned 31 today. For His health and marriage with a God fearing girl. Thanks J.M.C.

Hi my brothers and sisters GODS warmest and richest seasons greetings, could I please ask prayer for GODS strength and provision to make it through the week everyone is moving very fast shopping etc. and I just do not have the strength to keep up. GOD richly bless you. brother Danny

This time, I am sending you Christmas greetings from Kelowna, Canada where I am with Esther, our biological children Dickson and Mueni and the MCF North American Mission Choir team, who are part of our big MCF family. We are now preparing to leave for home to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior and are scheduled to arrive in Kenya 4 days before Christmas.

For many years, MCF has never had such a great festive season with glorious feelings in the hearts of many in MCF and in Kenya as a whole as God through His grace has crowned it by providing abundance of rain, of\ which to many people is a special and the best Christmas gift. I have just received a report from home that the Thika River which passes through the MCF farm and that was completely dry 6 months ago is now full of water once again. The dams that we had constructed over the last few years are almost full with water. The people, old and young alike and animals that were once dying in the wild reserves now have renewed hope as water is available for them and for agricultural development. This is something that we have been hoping and praying for the last 3 years. God has surely given us a true Christmas and I want to urge you to rejoice together with us.

The entire Ndalani and Yatta communities as well as our country men just planted some crops though there will be a delay in harvesting them as they are still very young and they look forward to a harvest towards the end of January 2010. Please pray that God will give us enough rains to take us for a long period of time which will allow us to have enough food for all in MCF and within the surrounding community.

It has been through your prayers and financial support that we have come this far. We could never have achieved all of the success recorded in MCF over the years without you. Thank you.

As it has been our tradition, this Christmas, we are focussing on sharing the love of God with our neighbours and children. We are planning on having;

1. A two day special feeding program for over 1,800 children from the surrounding community

2. Have a one week special feeding program for the 2,010 MCF children which will include special food such as beef, Chapati (special bread), rice, vegetables, fruits, pop, biscuits and sweets.

3. Carry out a food relief exercise targeting 9,000 families each having approximately 6 members. Please pray for this organisation in Kenya.

My precious mother has always been really active and does so much for others, but has struggled with lower back pain this year. Just found out at 66 that she has scoliosis of the spine, and has been diagnosed with osteoporosis and arthritis. She has had a very hard life, is on a fixed income, and I petition Heaven for her to have a better future! Healed, whole, and that God would send her a wonderful Godly husband with whom she can travel and have FUN. She deserves so much more than what she's had!! I feel guilty that my poor health has negatively impacted her, and that my brother is not living an ideal life either, and yet she has still remained faithful and positive. Her name is Natalie and she lost so much as a Jew when she chose Christ--please pray the Lord's absolute best for her!! No more pain or fatigue. Thank you.

The Gaza siege and shortages of food, medicines, building materials and other supplies has resulted in the children of Gaza working inside the tunnels between Gaza and Egypt through which commodities are being smuggled. A recent report calls for international community's help and support to end the children's misery. Children take one break during the 12 hours' shift and are exhausted, which leads many to take a stimulant called 'Tramal' which helps them forget the pain and revitalizes their bodies, keeping them working without complaints. But at the same time this drug abuse involves serious health complications and side effects. Because of rising poverty after the siege many children stopped going to school. A small number manage to coordinate their times and work while studying. The majority of the children started working almost 1-2 years ago. Ask God to remember the children of Gaza, end their misery and bring a conclusion to the siege. (Lam.3:33). Remind God of His promise to save the children of the needy and bring justice to the poor. (Ps.72:4).
