Champa of India The Champa inhabit the frozen deserts that separate Ladakh from Tibet in Jammu and Kashmir. The name Champa may have been derived from their traditional drink, chang. Their staple food is barley and the meat of yak and wild horse. The major economic resources of the Champa are yaks and goats. Their snow desert habitat does not have any communication or health service facilities. Ministry Obstacles The Champa live in a remote region.
