PETER IS WITH THE LORD

It is with great personal sadness that I
need to announce the home going of Peter at about 2:30 p.m. Texas time
this afternoon, just a couple of hours ago.
A funeral will be held the latter part of next week, and more details will follow as they become available.
A large celebration of Peter's life will be held at the Starting the Year Off Right conference late December, dates to be determined. This will give the international community time to plan and travel if they wish, and for us to get together a fitting tribute to his life.
Our family would appreciate your prayers at this difficult time.

DORIS ANNOUNCES
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
FOR DR. C PETER WAGNER

Dear Praying Friends,
Many of our family members and co-laborers in the Gospel are needing to know about Peter's funeral arrangements in order to make their travel arrangements. In speaking with my family and a number of our very close friends, it appears as though the most convenient days for the funeral arrangements for Peter will be the following:
There will be a viewing available for any of you who wish to attend that event, on Wednesday evening, October 26th from 6 to 8 PM. This will take place at the Bill DeBerry Funeral Home, 2025 W. University Dr., Denton, TX 76201. This is open to the public.
There will be a private burial early the next morning, October 27.
On October 27, at 11 a.m. the celebration of life service will follow back at the Global Spheres Center in Corinth. This will be open to the public. The address is 7801 South Interstate 35E, Corinth, Texas, Chuck Pierce officiating. Lunch will be served immediately following at the Global Spheres Center.
In addition, there will be a large Legacy Service in late December at the Starting the Year of Right Conference at the Global Spheres Center to provide an opportunity to celebrate Peter and all that he accomplished for the Kingdom. Details will be communicated as they become available.

One of the
closest things to Peter's heart was evangelism and church planting. It
just so happens that our daughter Rebecca and her husband Jack Sytsema
are in the process of starting a new church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Therefore, I have decided that it would be very appropriate that lieu of
flowers, please make donations to that new church planting effort. The
name of the church is Lake Effect Church. Peter's last outing was to
church two weeks ago where he took part in commissioning Jack for that
effort. Becky was unable to attend, since they have two special needs
boys at home.
