Bali Baby

 .
One of the newest arrivals at an orphanage on the island of Bali is a 1-year-old who will benefit from food, shelter and, eventually, financial assistance to attend school, thanks to an indigenous ministry based on the Indonesian island. “With some of these kids, we don’t know who their parents are because we rescued them from the street, and they were homeless and abandoned,” the director of the ministry said. Christian workers who educate the children about Christ can feed one for $90 a month and meet all of their needs for $200 each. “Some of them are from poor families with only one aged grandparent who can no longer care for the kids,” the director said. “With some of them, the grandparents have already passed away. They stay with us because they are homeless with no family.”
