Miao, Enshi in China The Enshi Miao have absorbed Chinese culture and customs. Few still wear a traditional style of dress, and few of their ways are different from the Chinese around them. They no longer celebrate Miao festivals, although in recent years a movement has commenced to rediscover their roots as Miao people. Elderly Enshi Miao continue to worship their ancestors, especially during the annual ancestral rites when graves are cleaned and prayers are offered to the spirits of the dead. Pray for the followers of Christ There are a few Christian believers today among the Enshi Miao, most being Roman Catholics. Pray these people will learn to fully trust Christ's finished work on the cross for their salvation, and trust His Spirit to give them a victorious life today. Pray for the entire people group Pray for the younger people among the Enshi Miao to be given an interest in Christ, that their attitude of indifference will be shaken. Pray for searching hearts.
