Jahanka in Mali The Jahanka are a mysterious people group, including Islamic holy men. As holy men (Muslim clerics), they conduct Islamic worship rituals and provide Qur'anic teaching in the villages. Because of their desire for religious piety they often remove themselves from secularized society and live in rural villages.
