Zhuang, Central Hongshuihe in China The Zhuang are China's largest ethnic minority group. They are, for the most part, plains dwellers practicing wet rice farming side by side with the Chinese. Their traditional religion is polytheism. They believe in many spirits, often malicious, who control the events of their lives and must be appeased. Despite this, the Zhuang are very open and ready to receive the Gospel. Ministry Obstacles Living in fear of spirits for many years may not be quickly overcome.
