Now is the Time to Act
Our suffering brothers and sisters need us to stand with them
By Dan Wooding, Founder of ASSIST News Service
LAKE FOREST, CA (ANS December 29, 2016)
-- Every day, untold numbers of Christians in countries like Iran,
Iraq, Syria, Nigeria, Pakistan and Sudan, face persecution on a massive
scale.
During
this year alone, thousands have been slaughtered by Islamic terror
groups like ISIS in the Middle East, and Boko Haram in Nigeria, while
others are languishing in brutal jail, not knowing whether they will
taken out and executed by hanging, firing squad, or beheaded by the
sword, the favorite killing choice of ISIS.
However,
I want you to know that your prayers and support are having an eternal
impact on the lives of so many of these believers as you learn about
them through our news service, and then you take action on their behalf.
Thank
you for all you have already done! But now, time is running out on
2016. Until December 31st, you can provide a Christian lifeline to these
courageous brothers and sisters as you support what we doing by
highlighting their cases.
Before
the year runs out, I am asking you to make a generous year-end donation
to ASSIST of $50, $100, or whatever you can afford to help us meet our
goal of bringing you more of these stories that will literally change
the lives of those we feature.
Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the lives of those who are in such need.
Please, go to www.assistnews.net and
scroll down to where it says DONATE TO ASSIST NEWS and make your
donation now. If you prefer a check, please make it out to ASSIST and
mail it to PO Box 609, Lake Forest, CA 92609, USA. (All gifts in the USA
are tax-deductible, and all envelopes dated December 31st, or earlier,
will be deductible for 2016).
Thank
you for your continued support and friendship. With gratitude from all
of us at ASSIST, which, by the way, means Aid to Special Saints in
Strategic Times.
