Rawat in India
The term Rawat signifies a prince; it is a title
borne by the relatives of a king. Traditionally, the Rawat are a
landowning community engaged in cultivation. Their attitude towards
education, medical and family welfare programs is favorable. Their
family deity is Ashapridebi. Village level and regional level deities
are Bherujee and Matajee.Ministry Obstacles
The Hindu Rawat have little concept of a personal, creator God who loves them personally.

Pray for the followers of Christ
Pray for the followers of Christ that will someday emerge from the Rawat community, that the Lord will provide qualified pastors and teachers for them, and that they will be well established in the faith.

Pray for the Rawat community to increasingly be aware of their need for forgiveness of sin, and that the creator God loves them.
