Church
youth enjoy an activity at a three-day camp in India's Jammu &
Kashmir state, fortifying the kingdom of God in a state whose population
is 67 percent Muslim and 29.6 percent Hindu. The director of an
indigenous ministry said many people are coming to Christ at the church
he leads. "Almost every Sunday, six to eight new people and seekers come
to the church and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord and
receive healing from different types of sicknesses," he said. "To God be
the glory." The ministry is building a solid foundation for future
growth by discipling youth. "About 40 youths attended the camp, and
several of them accepted Christ and rededicated their lives to Christ,"
the director said. "About 10 to 12 of them decided to take water
baptism." The ministry seeks funds for discipleship training, youth
camps and Vacation Bible Schools for youth, as well as leadership
training for gospel workers and pastors.
