You are Beautiful

A flower as tender and fragile as it is, holds a power over anyone that sees it and smells its fragrance. In the same way, I do not need you to be strong to have an influence in the world, my child. I do not need you to be capable or to stand a head above anyone else.
Rather I just need you to shine with the beauty that I have already put inside of you. For you run here and there to try to add to yourself. You try to become more than what you are, not realizing that I already put my treasure in you and that I already find you beautiful. For indeed, I delight in the beauty I put inside of you! I delight in the treasures that I have hidden in your earthen vessel.
So instead of trying to add to yourself, why not just rest in what you already have? Be like a flower that is unafraid to turn its face up to the sun and to allow the fullness of its fragrance to be carried by the wind. For a flower cannot even pollinate itself. It relies on the elements to carry it. So let me carry you! Allow me to send my wind to diffuse my fragrance through you.
Allow me to send my rain to water you and my sun to shine upon you. All you do is shine with the beauty you have. Do not compare yourself to others. Do not think you must be stronger than others. Do not think that the little you have is not enough, for if it is enough for me, it should be enough for others as well. So come, my child. Open up your heart and shine once again.
Open up and reveal the beauty within again and then allow me to cover you. Allow me to be your shield. Then as you shine, I will lift you up and I will cause many to be drawn to me because of the treasures I placed in you, says the Lord.
