Every
day, we receive remarkable stories from our pioneer missionaries in the
field. They tell about difficult journeys and miraculous encounters
with people who respond to Jesus for the first time. These stories are
too good to keep to ourselves — so whenever we hear a particularly
stunning report from the field, we send it your way.
But some stories are too sensitive to share online.
Recently,
one of our teams crossed frozen lakes and rivers to reach a series of
villages in need of the Good News. Braving minus 60 degree (F) cold,
they shared the Gospel with people who hadn’t seen visitors in years.
But the weather wasn’t the only difficulty — their government has placed
strict new restrictions on evangelism.
We’d
like to tell you the full story, but not in this email. For our
missionaries’ security, we’ve decided to release this account in print
only, featured as a special edition of Every Home magazine. If you’re willing to go a little old-school with us on this one, we’ll send it straight to your mailbox.
