Pray for Digil-Rahawiin of Somalia
Digil-Rahawiin of Somalia
The Digil and Rahawiin (Mirifle) are two of the clan federations of the Somali peoples. The Somalis are not a unitary people group, but a grouping of broad clan federations divided by language and by clan conflicts. The Digil-Rahawiin speak various dialects of what is known as the Maay language. The Digil and Rahawiin clans retain much of the historic nomadic, pastoral culture primarily centered around camels with a few cattle and goats. They are virtually all Muslim.
Ministry Obstacles
The Digil-Rahawiin clans may offer special challenges to evangelists and church planters because of the clan divisions within the broader group.
Outreach Ideas
Christian workers need to care genuinely for the material and physical needs of these people, living in a harsh land.
Pray for the followers of Christ
There are very few followers of Jesus among this large clan grouping in Somalia. They need prayer support. Pray they will be sent resources (Scripture, Jesus film, and so forth) to help them become established in the faith. Pray they will be patient with each other, bearing with one another in love.
Pray for the entire people group
Pray for the Digil-Rahawiin people living in the harsh environment of Somalia to be able to care adequately for their families. Pray for sufficient rain, and for good agricultural practices.
Scripture Focus

The Territorial-Level Battlefield
The Territorial-Level Battlefield
By Eddie Smith

In the summer of 1990 I heard about an event that had taken place in our city the night before the previous Halloween. It was “Breakthrough Houston,” a citywide convocation of churches to do strategic-level spiritual battle for Houston. Our church was beginning to extend its outward vision, and we pastors felt it would be good if we participated the next time around.
I made contact with the host pastor, the one who’d convened the event, to express our desire to be involved; however, I was sad and surprised when he said, “Oh, we’re not planning to repeat it this year.”
Not going to repeat it? I marveled. I’d heard so many positive comments.
When I asked why, he began to recall a litany of disasters pertaining to the pastors and churches who’d taken part. One, soon after that night, had lost his church. Another’s son had committed suicide. Another’s wife left him. And on and on it went, a trail of anguish and agony all attributed to their participation in Breakthrough Houston itself.
“What exactly did you do last year?” I inquired.
He explained that they first had worshiped for more than an hour. Actually I learned later—from Alice and her friend Eraina, who had attended—that it was mostly warfare music, along the lines of “We’re gonna stomp all over the Devil’s face, rah rah rah.” (I made that up, but you get my point. And, there is a place for that.) Then, he said that one by one, leaders had come to the microphone to pray and speak against Satan and his territorial demonic princes above the city, while almost ten thousand attendees joined in the fervor.
As he spoke it became clear to me why the enemy had retaliated so viciously. I was reminded of a time when, as a child, I threw a rock at a hornet’s nest. It had seemed like such a good idea at first … but in the end I was the victim, not the victor.

Please pray for your brothers and sisters in these countries.
In a first meeting with the UN Office in Baghdad, the Assyrian Christian delegates were greeted with `this is a Moslem country - your people should leave`.
When the delegation informed the UN Officials that in fact they were the original people of the country, they were ushered out the door.
In addition to assistance, the Assyrian Christians are united in seeking implementation of a promise from the Iraqi Government, guaranteed under the Iraqi Constitution for an area of their own in their homeland in Northern Iraq - the Assyrian Province. Please pray for your brothers and sisters in Iraq.
Please pray for my marriage: I feel my husband is going to ask me for a divorce when he returns from deployment. My husband has been deployed for over a year. He has become cold, non-communicative and non-responsive. I haven't heard from him in weeks. Please pray the Lord would give my husband a very deep love for me and to show that love to me, that he will begin communicating with me again, to be the loving man that I married again, for our marriage to be strong, successful, loving, vibrant and happy. I love my husband with all my heart. I don't know if he is having an affair or has just lost love for me; but I desperately want to not only have our marriage work, but for it to be a success that will give God glory.
Thank you for praying with me; I desperately need God's miraculous and speedy help. My husband was planning to come home on leave for Christmas, but now he acts like he doesn't care to come home at all. Please pray boldly and full of faith. Mrs. K.
Approximately 500 babies have been dumped by their mothers in the Mother City so far this year, but most of them have survived. A recent survey by Child Welfare found that it is mostly young mothers who abandon their babies. There are five reasons which could possibly be the main causes for babies being dumped: Teen pregnancies, drugs, rape, poverty and women expecting foreigners' babies. Pray for young ladies that are pregnant; pray that God will provide a way for them to preserve life e.g. adoption, child care homes etc. Pray for mothers who have abandoned their children and suffer from condemnation and guilt. Ask God to reveal Himself as the Merciful One to them and that they will find grace and peace in His presence.
Dear friends in Christ, I like to ask you for prayer for my old parents: Anne- Metta (nearly 90y.) and Heinrich (92y.)- divorced. They both need salvation and physical healing : Metta of blood pressure, heart, eyes(inflammation), shoulders, hands and a cold and Heinrich of brain (after a 2nd stroke recently.) Dorothy
Last week I had a speaking engagement in Wisconsin and it went really well. All of the prophecies was directional. I am being invited back. This week, I was invited over to pray over a lady that was told she was going to die in a few months by the doctors and she was totally healed after we prayed over her. Also, she was giving directional prophecies in a few minutes and we were able to led ten of her family members to the Lord on the spot. All received directional prophecies. We are being invited back Saturday to meet the rest of the family. My goal is a house church and the multiplied number of new cell house churches. My goal is actually disciples and not churches. That is where the multiplication is going to be.
In the Richmond TX area I now officially have led eighteen people to the Lord here by going store to store and need wisdom to follow them up. Also, in the Pasadena area, I have seen 45 people come to the Lord and this is going to become two different groups.
I am in the need of pray. One man is raising me the support to return to the nation of Peru. I was told that all of the prophecies that I gave ten years ago came to pass. That means that I do not have to sneak in the back door at midnight on a full moon. Praise God. Thanks for praying. And where people are praying, God shows up and there is a crowd. P. Michael Bailey
Uzbekistan: massive fine for having a film of Jesus’ life. Please pray for the freedom for the Christians in Uzbekistan.
Honourable Minister of Social Development, Ms Bomo Edna Molewa will be opening the Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Africa Conference on 31 October at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. The conference hopes to highlight that, despite the outward appearance of society polarised between rich and poor, employed and unemployed, there are many people and organisations trying to address the plight of the most vulnerable amongst us. There is nothing like a loving family to engender belonging and a thriving community to give identity. Without these structures as a foundation, many children will find growing up in today’s world even more challenging as they realise their lack of capacity to meet these challenges, incapable of reaching their full potential and increasing their risk to further impoverishment and ill health. Please pray that this conference will inspire people to reach out to the vulnerable. Pray for strategies on how to provide good family life for vulnerable children. Pray that more families will take children into their own homes and provide the stability of family life that so many children need.

LESOTHO: The Basotho are dying of AIDS before missionaries can reach them
The AIDS rate in the small, landlocked country of Lesotho is officially estimated at 25 percent, but the Dials believe it to be closer to 60 percent. This International Mission Board missionary couple has visited villages in which every person carries the virus.
“We cannot get to them fast enough to give them the Good News about Jesus before they die,” explained Alan Dial.
Physically, the Basotho are steeped in disease. Not only do many carry the HIV virus, but the Dials say that almost all of them are infected with some degree of tuberculosis or other chronic pulmonary diseases. These illnesses are unintentionally welcomed by Basotho who build fires in their huts that release oily fumes. It seems that everyone in the country is riddled with at least one form of infirmity.
The Basotho are no healthier spiritually. As a result of surrounding themselves with witchcraft, the people have experienced demonic harassment in various ways. The Dials mentioned one girl who burst into terrorizing screams during a showing of the “JESUS” film. Her body was paralysed in the crucifixion position until the Dials prayed over her and she went limp.
As Nineveh would have perished without Jonah, so the Basotho will perish without someone sharing the Good News. They are in fact already perishing—and all too soon. Even those that do believe in the message of Christ are dying out before the Truth can be spread. Missionaries are desperately needed to tell them about life in Christ before more precious lives are lost without the Gospel.
- Please pray that the Lord would bring servants to the suffering country of Lesotho.
- Pray that He would open the hearts of the inflicted Basotho and would transform their seemingly hopeless community into one of vibrant faith and love.
- Pray that someone would pick up the legacy the Dials have left.
Hi my brothers and sisters I have asked for prayer many times but this request seems to be more serious. For the next 4 nights I will be riding the subway in NYC with people dressed up in the worst Halloween costumes imaginable. Please say a prayer for me to receive Gods strength and provision and protection, I would deeply appreciate it. GOD richly bless you, brother Danny.
China: church unsurprised by Lausanne incident. Multiple members of various churches in China last week were stopped by their government from leaving the country. The believers were on their way to Cape Town 2010, the Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization. Many were outraged, but Tom Henry with World Serve Ministries says our Chinese brothers and sisters have a different perspective.
“The one thing I have learned about the Chinese is that they totally embrace and follow a God that’s all powerful, that’s Sovereign, that’s loving. And they yield these into His hands so that they have really learned, as Paul said, contentment in all things.” In fact, the church is hoping for God to move in the situation.
“They really have seen God take things like this that are humanly disappointing and use them to really expand the church in China.”
Pray that this would truly serve to strengthen the exploding church in China.
The Lausanne Congress has drawn to an end and the whole week was clearly marked by God’s faithfulness. The next insert is one of the many testimonies of what God did to ensure that nothing His people from gathering to seek His face for wisdom. The sophisticated computer network developed for sharing Congress content with the world was compromised for the first two days of the Congress. There were malicious attacks on the network and a virus was also brought into the centre on a mobile phone. Two cousins from Bangalore were able to solve many of these challenges due to their expertise in these areas. Give thanks to the Lord for every prayer answered during this week's Congress. Please pray for each person as they return home, to find things in order there. Pray that they will work with new vigour and that God will answer their prayers by working signs, wonders, miracles and healing through them, to the glory of His Name.

Pray for Yadava of India
Yadava of India
The Yadava believe they are the descendants of king Yadu, from whom Krishna descended. Their traditional occupation is animal husbandry. They have expertise in oral traditions like sevagaridi, i.e. group singing in praise of Lord Vishnu. They freely share wells, roads, schools, crematoria, temple, etc. with other villagers.
Ministry Obstacles
Our natural human pride often prevents us from humbly accepting the free gift offered through faith in Christ.
Outreach Ideas
Christians need to build bridges of friendship with the Yadava. Their interest in oral traditions suggests an oral approach to the presentation of the Gospel message.
Pray for the followers of Christ
There are few if any believers among the Yadava today, but pray for the fellowshipping believers that will soon emerge from this community. Pray they will be zealous to know and serve the one who created them and redeemed them.
Pray for the entire people group
Pray for the Yadava community to have good schools available for their children, and for good employment opportunities.

- Pray for the national church, which Dr Rebekka describes as going through “a time of testing”. Particularly pray for churches which have been under attack or forced to close recently, especially in Bekasi.
Hi my brothers and sisters, asking special prayer for GODS strength and provision, and this week I have a very special unspoken request that only prayer and the grace and mercy of GOD will be able to answer. GOD richly bless you, brother Danny (my brother lives on the streets of New York). Please pray for him.
Global Day of Prayer is partnering with NEWPO (National Evangelistic Prayer Watch Outreach) under the leadership of Bishop Peter M Sekhonyane and hosting the 6th annual Power of Prayer Conference that will take place at Maranatha Revival Centre in Orange Farms from 28 – 31 October 2010. This is a very strategic national conference that has birthed the establishment of more than 7,800 Prayer Centres in South Africa over the past five years, with local churches becoming ‘Houses of Prayer’ and ‘Community Watches’ drawing believers together from many churches to pray for their local communities. Please pray that all attendees will be empowered to go back to their own communities to bring forth transformation through prayer. Pray also that believers from different denominations will seek God in unity of spirit.

A Christian pastor in Iran who was sentenced to death for what is being called a “thought crime” has less than a week to live. Advocates for Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani told ASSIST News that while all of the other prisoners arrested in a wide-ranging crackdown by Iranian authorities have been released, Nadarkhani still faces the death penalty on October 24. Pastor Youcef was arrested in October 2009 for protesting against a decision of the Corporation to impose Koranic teaching to his son. Please pray for a miracle.
Please pray for a student of mine in my watercolour class named Cindi. Her 27-year-old daughter died in her sleep two weeks ago, leaving a week-old baby daughter and a 4-yr. Old little boy. Her husband and the whole family are trying desperately to pick up the pieces and determine how best to take care of the children. They are grieving deeply and need god's mercy and grace to continue to sustain them through this dark valley. They are very strong in their faith, and god has been working miracles already in this situation. Helen

The 1857 PRAYER REVIVAL in AMERICA
The 1857 PRAYER REVIVAL in AMERICA
-extracts by Wesley Duewal.
A quiet, zealous forty-six-year-old businessman in New York was
appointed on July 1,1857 , as a missionary in downtown New York
at the Dutch Church. Jeremiah Lamphier had been converted in
1842 in Broadway Tabernacle, Finney's church that was built in 1836.
Lamphier felt led by God to start a noon-time weekly prayer meeting
in which business people could meet for prayer. Anyone could
attend, for a few minutes or for the entire hour. Prayers were to
be comparatively brief. Lamphier's group met on the third floor of
the old North Dutch Reformed Church on Fulton Street in New York.
Lamphier printed some handbills announcing the prayer meetings
with the title, "How Often Should I Pray?"
The first day, September 23, 1857, Lamphier prayed alone for half
an hour. But by the end of the hour, six men from at least four
denominational backgrounds joined him. The next Wednesday
there were twenty. On October 7 there were nearly forty. The
meeting was so blessed that they decided to meet daily. One
week later there were over one hundred present, including many
unsaved who were convicted by the Holy Spirit of their sin.
Within one month pastors who had attended the noon prayer
meetings in Fulton Street started morning prayer meetings in
their own churches. Soon the places where the meetings were
held were overcrowded. Men and women, young and old of all
denominations met and prayed together without distinctions. The
meetings abounded with love for Christ, love for fellow Christians,
love for prayer, and love of witnessing. Those in attendance felt
an awesome sense of God's presence. They prayed for specific
people, expected answers, and obtained answers.
Newspapers began to report on the meetings and the unusual spirit
of prayer that was evident. Within three months similar meetings
had sprung up across America. Thousands began praying in these
services and in their own homes.... By the end of March over six
thousand people met daily in prayer gatherings in New York City.
Meetings began in February in Philadelphia. Soon Jayne's Hall
was overfilled, and meetings were held at noon each day in public
halls, concert halls, fire stations, houses, and tents. The whole
city exuded a spirit of prayer.
Almost simultaneously noon prayer meetings sprang up all across
America in Boston, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Richmond,
Charleston, Savannah, Mobile, New Orleans, Vicksburg, Memphis,
St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago, and in a multitude of
other cities, towns, and in rural areas. By the end of the fourth
month, prayer fervor burned intensely across the nation. It was an
awesome but glorious demonstration of the sovereign working of
the Holy Spirit and the eager obedience of God's people.
INVISIBLE CLOUD of GOD'S PRESENCE
A canopy of holy and awesome revival influence - in reality the
presence of the Holy Spirit - seemed to hang like an invisible cloud
over many parts of the United States, especially over the eastern
seaboard. At times this cloud of God's presence even seemed to
extend out to sea. Those on ships approaching the east coast at
times felt a solemn, holy influence, even one hundred miles away,
without even knowing what was happening in America.
Revival began aboard one ship before it reached the coast. People
on board began to feel the presence of God and a sense of their
own sinfulness. The Holy Spirit convicted them, and they began
to pray. As the ship neared the harbor, the captain signaled,
"Send a minister." Another small commercial ship arrived in port
with the captain, and every member of the crew converted in the
last 150 miles. Ship after ship arrived with the same story: both
passengers and crew were suddenly convicted of sin and turned
to Christ before they reached the American coast.
HOMES, SHOPS, FIELDS and CHURCHES
Reports came in of hundreds being converted in prayer meetings,
private homes, workshops, and fields. Often the doors of businesses
held signs reading, "Closed, will reopen at the close of the prayer
meeting." Five prayer meetings took place daily in Washington,
D.C. Five thousand or so attended daily services in the Academy
of Music Hall.
In Philadelphia, Jayne's Hall removed partitions and added space
for six thousand people to attend daily meetings.... The services
consisted of simple prayer, confession, exhortation, and singing.
But it was "so earnest, so solemn, the silence. ..so awful, the
singing. ..so over-powering" that the meetings were unforgettable.
A canvas tent was erected for outdoor meetings, and it immediately
filled with people. In four months' time, a total of 150,000 people
attended the ministry in the tent, with many conversions..... the
best estimates are that 6.6 percent of the entire population of the
United States was converted during the revival.

“Peace is the condition of the heart, not of circumstances.” Matt. 8:19
Let the peace of God fully reign in your heart. Greetings, Roberto Wijnhof
My instructor, Loren, refuses to give me credit for a class and test that I passed quite successfully, and that I paid for that testing. He is giving my different excuses at times as to why he cannot give me the credits, but these are not valid reasons as I show him the papers and the requirements and what grades I received.
Please pray that the Lord will intervene on this situation and turn his heart around to be honest with me and give me the class credits. C.
Lord, please soften and change Paul's heart drawing him to Jesus. Open his eyes and heart to accept Truth. Help Paul to hear and learn from you so he will come to Jesus. Flood his heart with Your light and give him revelation of who you are and Your plans for his life. Bring your labourers forth to show Paul the way. In Jesus name.
There is no doubt that there are at least 75,000 believers in Algeria today and the number is growing daily. The vast majority are in the Kabyle areas. At least 3,500 believers get baptized every year. The number of churches, house churches and groups is impossible to count. The believers have a great desire to share their faith in the towns and villages where they live. They also go and evangelise in other towns and villages. One large church has planted 6 other churches. The Kabyles are very open to the gospel. These people are ready to hear of another Way to God and be assured of their salvation. Pray that more leaders would have opportunity for leadership training, in preparation for ministry. Ask the Lord to raise up leaders in pastoral care. Ask the Lord to provide books and training materials. Pray for more meeting places. And praise God for all these new believers!
Maldives: Muslims Force Expat Christian Teacher to Flee
Mistaking compass she drew for a cross, parents of students threatened to expel her.
Authorities in the Maldives had to transport a Christian teacher from India off one of the Islamic nation’s islands after Muslim parents of her students threatened to expel her for “preaching Christianity.”
On Wednesday night (Sept. 29) a group of angry Muslim parents stormed the government school on the island of Foakaindhoo, in Shaviyani Atoll, accusing Geethamma George of drawing a cross in her class, a source at Foakaindhoo School told Compass. A few days earlier, George, a social studies teacher, had drawn a compass to teach directions to Class VI students. But the students, who knew little English, mistook the drawing to be a cross and thought she was trying to preach Christianity, the source said. The students complained to their parents, who in turn issued a warning to the school.
“There were only 10 teachers to defend Geethamma when a huge crowd gathered outside the school,” the source said by telephone. “Numerous local residents of the island also joined the parents’ protest.” The school administration promptly sought the help of officials from the education ministry.
“Fearing that the teacher would be physically attacked, the officials took her out of the island right away,” the source said. “She will never be able to come back to the island, and nor is she willing to do so. She will be given a job in another island.” Please pray for safety as a Christian.

From 16-25 October 2010, more than 4,000 Christian leaders will face major obstacles to world evangelisation meeting in Cape Town for 10 days. They trust God for breakthroughs in six main areas: portraying the uniqueness of Christ in a pluralistic world; religious fundamentalism; obstacles to world evangelisation within the church; the shift within the world church from the Global North to South and West to East; the development of a theology of suffering and reconciliation; and the building of new partnerships to help the church advance in the unfinished task of world evangelisation. Please pray into these different focus areas now, so leaders will be able to hear God's voice on these issues when they gather.
Pray for Surajpark church believers, that they may grow in faith and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Pray for Pastor Satyanarayan that God may use him in this area and bless him with wisdom, knowledge, power and strength. Pray for his wife and children too. We have a thriving children church and youth group who are first generation Christians. Uphold them in your prayer. India
Please pray for the 7 days of daily Bible school and at night a 7 days conference with pastor David Maasbach in the Netherlands form Monday 18 till 24 of October.
Fifty thousand people, Africans and Americans alike, are expected to descend upon the Capitol West Mall in Washington DC on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and participate in Africa Prays For America, a unique and unprecedented prayer gathering hosted by the African Strategic Leadership Prayer Network (www.aslpn.org). African Strategic Leadership Prayer Network (ASLPN), an assembly of African Christian leaders from around the world, is a non-profit Christian charitable organization dedicated to prayer and intercession. The ASLPN said, “We are coming, leaders and lay people, we are coming from dozens of African Nations, we are coming 50,000 strong to petition heaven in unity. We, African believers, call all Christians to join us on October 16 to pray for America. May our light never go out.” Pray that every attendee from Africa will only release and pray according to the Spirit of God. Pray that every attendee will have God’s kingdom in mind and the expansion thereof. Pray against the activity of false prophecy, any form of witchcraft, etc. Pray that Africans will call on the name of the True and Living God, the Holy One of Israel to intervene on behalf of America.
Please pray for the Assyrian Christians of Iraq. Please pray in particular for the nearly 500,000 refugees in neighbouring countries and within Iraq as we work to provide them with assistance, help to go home and protection.
Religion is largely irrelevant to most young people who rely instead on a ‘secular trinity’ of themselves, their family and their friends to give meaning to their lives, a new book claims. The study published by the Church of England concludes that people born after 1982 - known as ‘Generation Y’ - have only a ‘faded cultural memory’ of Christianity. For many young people, religious observance extends no further than praying in their bedrooms during moments of crisis, on a ‘need to believe basis’. Fewer than one in five young people believe in a God ‘who created the world and hears my prayers’, and teenagers were more likely to believe in the ‘nicer’ parts of religious doctrine than those about the devil and punishment. ‘It is undoubtedly the case that the Christian memory is very faint and in many respects Generation Y is a largely unstoried and memory less generation,’ the study said. Continue to pray for the young people in your community by speaking the Word of God into their lives. Try to spend time with them and listen to their battles and pray accordingly.

Pray for Namasudra, Hindu of Bangladesh
Namasudra, Hindu of Bangladesh
Some Namasudra own land and are engaged in cultivation, but a large number are daily-wage workers. Rickshaw-pulling, poultry farming and goat-rearing are secondary occupations. They profess Hinduism, and worship Lakshmi and Parameshwar. Their literacy rate, according to the 1981 census, is 29%.
Ministry Obstacles
The effective literacy rate may well be less than 29%. If the Gospel of Christ comes to them only in printed form the literacy rate will be a problem.
Outreach Ideas
Oral communication of the good news of Christ may be most appropriate. Stories from Scripture, Gospel radio, films, and recordings will all be useful.
Pray for the followers of Christ
There are a few people in the Namasudra community who identify themselves as Christians. Pray they will come to truly trust in Christ, and follow Him obediently. Pray they understand that to be a Christian means more than cultural identification.
Pray for the entire people group
Pray the Namasudra community will make schooling a priority for their children, and will be able to care adequately for their families. Pray for health care, clean water, and sufficient food.
Scripture Focus
"And those who lead many to righteousness [will shine] like the stars for ever and ever." Daniel 12:3

“We can not bear fruit without the water of God’s Word.” Psalm 1:3.
Have a fruitful weekend, Roberto Wijnhof.
I had an interview with a company and I am waiting for a response from them by next week. I’ld like you to pray along with me for a favourable response. Thank You.
Hearing "You are fired" or "We are laying off personnel" can be the hardest words for a person to hear in life. However, it does not have to be the end of the world. It can actually be the beginning of a new life for you. Still it is important to face the realities of life in practical ways. Pray for those who have lost their jobs recently. Cover them in prayer in the days and weeks after getting the news of losing their job. Pray for God's protection over their hearts and minds and that they would take every thought captive in obedience to Jesus Christ (2 Cor.10:4-5). Ask that they will experience God's love and power and have a sound mind (2 Tim.1:7). Pray that they will be honest about their feelings and able to explain to their families what happened, how it might influence their immediate circumstances and not hide the truth from them. Pray that their families will be supportive.
I would like to request prayer for me and my family, for a financial breakthrough, and for God's favor on every area out of our lives. Thanks I.
Please pray that no weapon formed against our Ministry Website, Businesses, Myself, or Wife or any of my Children or Family will ever prosper.
The kingdom of god & god’s blessings will daily come to our Ministry Website, Businesses, myself & my wife and all my children and family. John M.
Please pray for me so that the Lord Jesus Christ can help me to help to get out of debt and for me to become his messenger too. For the Lord to lead me in everything in my life. To heal every part of my body, in Jesus Name. I need help from God, I want to serve Jesus with my whole heart, mind and soul while I can. Nedd to be delivered from all wrong things of this world. So that God can bless me with a good lovely, blessed, kind, happy and Godly marriage.
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Tim2:1-4). Join other believers in prayer for South Africa. Pray for many believers in Cape Town to respond to this call to stand in the gap for South Africa. Pray that every person will seek counsel from God regarding the year 2011 and God’s plan for the future of South Africa.
I have not had a job for over a year. I have been contacted for a job and fly out for an interview Tuesday October 12 and 13. This is for a sales manager position and I really need the job and know I can do it and benefit the company. I need to impress them so please pray for me. This would so benefit my family.
Thank you and God bless, Denise
Please, pray with me that J.M Makes more steps toward me, invite me to go out with him soon, that god lead our words and emotions and that soon we begin good, happy relationship if it is God will!
Please, pray for improvement of our relationship, that he be very much involved in my life and me in his! Thank you for all your prayers. K.
Hi, my brothers and sisters asking asking special prayer for GODS strength and provision i usually wait until tomorrow but i feel the HOLY SPIRIT telling me to send it tonight. GOD richly bless you, brother Danny
Bhutan, South Asia: The mountain nation of Bhutan is nestled between India and China in the eastern Himalayas. It has been called the last place on the "Roof of the World" and is one of the most isolated nations on earth. Mahayana Buddhism is the state religion. Hinduism also has a powerful influence on the population. Officially, the Christian faith does not exist. Believers cannot pray or celebrate in public, and the government forbids house gatherings that involve multiple families. Missions work is forbidden. Praise: In an amazing answer to prayer, the premier of Bhutan vowed to keep politics free of corruption. Pray for citizens who rely on agriculture and forestry (the majority of the population) to reap fruitful harvests. Pray for them to realize the source of these blessings and come to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (Gen.22:14). Pray for the strongholds of Buddhism and Hinduism to be broken, brushed aside, and forgotten. Pray for God's Kingdom to come mightily to the people of Bhutan. (Col.1:13,14). Ask the Lord to soften the hearts of the Bhutanese so they will be fertile soil for God's Word and will bring forth bountiful fruit. (Matt.13:8).

Today pray for Rayeen, Muslim of India
Rayeen, Muslim of India
The Rayeen belong to the Sunni sect of Islam. The majority have traditionally been engaged in horticulture and gardening, although this has changed in recent years. The marriage symbol for women is the nose-ring. The Rayeen women, besides performing household chores, assist their menfolk in agricultural operations, cattle-rearing, and in other economic activities. They favor formal education but most of the children drop out after the primary or secondary level, mainly due to economic reasons.
Ministry Obstacles
The Rayeen community may be somewhat uninformed as to why Christians believe Jesus is deity, the Son of God. Pray they will be shown the basis for this belief.
Outreach Ideas
Christian workers can carry the message of Christ to these people using stories from Scripture, and through the use of films and recordings.
Pray for the followers of Christ
There may be no followers of Jesus among the Muslim Rayeen at present, but pray for those the Lord will soon lead to Himself. Pray they will be joyful always, praying continually, and giving thanks in all circumstances. Pray they will clearly understand the basis for their faith, and rest in the finished work of Christ on the cross. Pray they will learn to live in the power of Christ's Spirit.
Pray for the entire people group
Pray the Rayeen community will be able to find employment opportunities, and be able to send their children to school.

Moroccan Convert Serving 15 Years for His Faith
Nearly five years into the prison sentence of the only Christian in Morocco serving time for his faith, Moroccan Christians and advocates question the harsh measures of the Muslim state toward a man who dared speak openly about Jesus.
Bakrim, a Berber from southern Morocco, studied political science and law in Rabat. After completing his studies he travelled to Europe, where he became a Christian. Realizing that it would be difficult to live out his new-found faith in Morocco, in 1993 he applied for political asylum in the Netherlands, but immigration authorities refused him and expelled him when his visa expired.
Rachid asked that Christians around the world continue to lobby and pray that their Moroccan brothers and sisters stand firm and gain their freedoms.
“The biggest need is to stand with the Moroccan church and do whatever it takes to ask for their freedom of religion,” said Rachid.
Pray for my brother Peter, he just lost his wife.
COLOMBIA: Pastor Reyes missing two years.
On 25 September 2008, Pastor William Reyes disappeared and was never seen again. Because of his position as a pastor, he had been repeatedly threatened and targeted by armed groups for several years before his disappearance. Two years on his wife, Idia Miranda Reyes, is bravely speaking up about her husband’s disappearance in the UK.
CSW is bringing Idia on a speaking tour of UK churches this autumn, giving her the chance to tell her inspiring faith story. But, to do this, we need your help! Please join us in praying for Idia’s visa to be granted swiftly, so that she can share her story with you in person.
Please pray for R. she is abused when she was only 11 years old. She is now 15. She needs restoration and healing, some times thoughts of killing her self creeps in her mind. On her school she is not doing good. Please Lord help this young girl.
INDONESIA: Church leaders attacked in Bekasi.
In the Jakarta suburb of Bekasi, the Batak Christian Protestant Church is recovering from the attack on two of its leaders by Islamic hardliners in public earlier this month – one stabbed and the other beaten. In democratic, diverse Indonesia such religious violence is feared to be on the increase. Please pray for them and their churches.
Urgent prayer alert
Early this morning in Pakistan Parvez Choudhry, Chairman of LADS Christian lawyers group, was harassed by men with weapons outside his home and his car was later pursued by unmarked vehicles. Please pray for protection and strength for Parvez and his family, who regularly receive death threats for his work defending those accused of blasphemy.

Pray for Oromo, Yejju of Ethiopia
Oromo, Yejju of Ethiopia
The Oromo represent one of the largest of the Cushitic groups inhabiting the Horn of Africa. Cushitic speakers have inhabited parts of north-eastern and eastern Africa for as long as recorded history. "The Oromo were a very ancient race, the indigenous stock, perhaps, on which most other peoples in this part of eastern Africa have been grafted." In order to integrate with the imperial power and family, a large share of the Oromo converted to Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity during past centuries.
Ministry Obstacles
To follow Christ within the Oromo community is to risk losing much that is important, including family and friends.
Outreach Ideas
There are many followers of Christ in other Ethiopian tribes and communities. Perhaps some will be burdened to carry the message of Christ to the Oromo. Pray to that end.
Pray for the followers of Christ
Pray for those who know and follow Christ among the Yejju Oromo community. Pray they will experience grace and peace, and will grow to know and love Jesus Christ. Pray they will have a desire to share what they have learned with their family and friends. Pray for tactful yet bold witness for Christ.
Pray for the entire people group
Pray the Oromo people will increasingly desire to learn more of Isa (Jesus). Pray He will reveal Himself to them in various ways. Pray for workers to carry the good news of Christ to them.

Jadilah rekan Doa Kami
Shalom,
God bless you, all.
