Accepting Prison as a Choice?
March 27, 2013
I
can't get out of my mind the Middle Eastern missionary we prayed for
while I was in India. He was heading home from the conference knowing
that he might face arrest and interrogation the moment he arrived.
This caused me to wonder:
This is so true! And, by the way, he did make it home without incident!
It was a tremendous blessing to worship with 600 YWAM missionaries in India and to see that we are part of something so much bigger than any one of us can imagine as God continues to propel His Kingdom throughout the world.
You and I play our part together, and God continues to orchestrate!
This caused me to wonder:
- Do I have that type of commitment to my faith or would I be looking for a way out?
- Am I that confident that eternal things are so much more important than this temporal life?
- Am I so convinced of who God is, that I am willing to trust Him in any possible situation?
- Do I even want that level of passion and commitment?
This is so true! And, by the way, he did make it home without incident!
