Urgent prayer alert: Iranian Christians in court this Tuesday

We are requesting renewed prayer for Maryam Rostampour and Marzieh Amirizadeh Esmaeilabad, the two Iranian Christians who were imprisoned for their faith for 259 days in 2009. Since their conditional release in November 2009, Maryam, 27, and Marzieh, 30, have been recovering from illness. They have now been ordered to appear in court on Tuesday, 13 April. However, despite their weak condition, both women remain determined to stand by their faith.

As Maryam and Marzieh prepare to appear in court once again, please pray...

- For their mental and physical strength during the proceedings.

- That they will know the presence of God in the midst of their trial.

- For their loved ones not to be anxious.

- For their unconditional release and full recovery to health.

Thanks for your help to our ministry in CNVS for which we are grateful.

We have some bad news; From 1984 I had a good relation with some man whom I trusted to inform the churches and brethrens about the work and to collect gifts given to the ministry. I have discovered the following: He has deceived me on $20,000.00 He told gift givers that the money will be used to help CNVS and A. in Morocco but he has not done this. He was for 1 year in Morocco misusing the Lord's money. Bought a 4x4 and never even visited me while he was 900 Km away.

From now on brethren, I cannot trust this man because he has left us bankrupt. I am a worker now with no funding, and literature that we cannot send. Our monthly expenses are $3,500. Please pray for this situation. Abú

Please pray that today and everyday from now on New permanent leaflet distribution clients that will immediately get myself to continually weekly put out flyers for them will contact us today.

Pray that all our existing clients will daily obtain sales through the flyers we distribute for them.

Many of our clients will get saved and some become members of our church.

Every week all our leaflet clients will pay their bills immediately they are emailed to them

At least 10 Clients will pay us for putting out 2,000 flyers for them Immediately today and daily new permanent music students that will continue long term will daily book in for music lessons.

Daily the number of music students I teach will increase by one each new day.

Adults will book in for our Music for Seniors Lessons.

Please pray that no weapon formed against myself or any family member will ever prosper but that everyday the full standard of God’s salvation will come to myself and all my family. A.J.
Millions to Gather to Pray for Nation

There will be approximately 30,000 prayer events across the U.S. for the National Day of Prayer (NDP) on May 6.

The day is designated by Congress as a time for people to come together and pray. It became an official holiday in 1952. President Ronald Reagan fixed it on the first Thursday in May.

This year's theme is "Prayer, For Such a Time as This."

John B., executive director of the NDP Task Force, said the day kicks off with a national observance in the nation's capital.

"It's a great way to see that, yes, there is prayer happening in Washington, D.C.," he said. "There are leaders that have great respect for the God of the Bible."

He said 33 of the 44 U.S. presidents have set an example by calling for a day of prayer.

"We've found well over 800 proclamations calling for prayer from the state level to the federal level," he said.
