I have gambled all my money away, and I am deeply in debt. I do not know what to do. Please ask God to help me and do a miracle. Mr. S.D. I would like to ask your prayers for deliverance for M. She is depressed and has suicidal thoughts. Mr. R.B. North Korea: Pray for an upcoming balloon launch that will carry 352,000 gospel flyers into North Korea. The North Korean government clearly views the flyers as a risk to its control of information. Pray that these flyers will fall into the right hands and that many North Koreans will come to know Christ. VOM Contact Pray for our daughter Lulu (11). She has autism and is very restless. At school it is not going well. Mr. J. & Mrs. R. Mrs. J. v/d K. often watches the TV program of David Maasbach. For a long time she has severe headache and she asks our prayers for healing. Pray also that the Holy Spirit will touch many lives through the weekly TV broadcasts. Uganda: I request your urgent prayer for God’s provision, so I will be able to pay the rent and my bills. My children start their studies on May 27th and I still need provision in their school dues. Mr. S.M.A. Please pray for my for healing. I had a difficult childhood and I stutter sometimes. A.A. I ask your prayers for my aunt T. (91), which is in the hospital. She has fluid behind the lungs, an enlarged heart and her kidneys no longer work. L. & T. Afghanistan: Ten years ago, when the Taliban fell, there was much promise of change in the treatment of women. The problems that face Afghan women is so deeply rooted. Even though girls began to go to school and women began to participate in government, many women still continue to be banned from public life. Women are constantly harassed, raped, and murdered. They are forced into underage marriages and are trapped in homes where there is unbridled domestic violence. Half the girls do not attend school, and every two hours an Afghan woman dies from pregnancy related complications. Pray Afghan women come in contact with Christian believers who will introduce them to the Lord Jesus Christ, so they will experience the love of God. Also pray for the protection of these women, even when the NATO troops withdraw from Afghanistan. Please pray for jobs for Don and Toney. That God will lead them to the right jobs and work place where they can be reached by Christians and God’s will for their salvation be done. L.L. Sierra Leone: A VOM worker reports that 150 new believers were baptized recently in the village of Kaboreh, and 80 of them are converts from Islam. They had seen how many of their former persecutors came to faith in Christ. Among the new converts are four village chiefs, who were formerly Muslim. As a result of their conversions, the few remaining Muslims have said they will no longer obey them. Pray that these new believers will trust in Christ despite facing pressure to return to Islam. Pray also for the continued protection of evangelists in Sierra Leone. VOM Contact Please pray for my healing. Sometimes I am very tired. I have recently been diagnosed with skin cancer. J. On May 29th my wife and I leave for Goa, India, for Gospel meetings for 5 days. Kindly pray for anointing on us as we share the truth with Hindus (our background) and other unsaved, by the power of the Holy Ghost. Pray that God will keep us in good health and grant divine wisdom and power. Also pray for special blessings on the organizers of these meetings. Mr. J.M.C. Pray for the elderly: Many old people feel their lives are over and lose hope and faith even in the truths they believe about God. Many more are not really sure of their salvation. Please pray for Christian believers to visit and spend time with the elderly, helping them understand the gospel message of Jesus Christ in a very personal way.
